Frequently asked questions

What is
WIN Reality?

WIN Reality is a baseball and softball training platform designed to help players develop the skills they need to succeed. Our two core products—SwingAI and TrainVR—work together to give athletes of all levels a complete, immersive training experience.

  • SwingAI is our AI-powered mobile app that analyzes your swing, provides personalized feedback, and recommends drills to help you improve mechanics.
  • TrainVR is our virtual reality system that delivers thousands of game-speed pitch reps, helping you sharpen decision-making, pitch recognition, and timing against real pitchers.

Together, SwingAI and TrainVR help you build a better swing, make smarter decisions, and train like the pros.

SwingAI

What is SwingAI?

SwingAI is an AI-powered mobile app that analyzes your swing from a video and gives you instant feedback, 3D visualizations, and personalized drills to help you improve your swing mechanics.

No, you only need a phone. SwingAI works as a standalone mobile app. You can also use it alongside TrainVR for an integrated training experience.

You have two options to capture a swing for analysis:

  1. Upload a Swing from Your Video Library
Select an existing video from your phone’s camera roll. Make sure the swing is filmed from a side angle, shows the full body and bat, and is well-lit.
  2. Record a Swing in the App
Use the built-in camera tool in the SwingAI app to capture a swing in real time. The app will guide you through proper framing and recording.

After recording or uploading, SwingAI will analyze your swing and generate a personalized report within a couple minutes.

SwingAI analyzes your swing across 12 key movement dimensions—like negative move, pelvis load, hip-shoulder separation (x-factor), and stride length—using AI-powered video analysis. Each dimension is scored on a 1-5 scale, where a higher score means your movement is closer to proven swing patterns used by elite hitters. These scores are also combined into a total Swing Score that gives you an overall picture of your swing performance.

Each score includes:

  • A performance rating: Excellent, Satisfactory, or Off Target
  • A coaching insight explaining what the score means and why it matters
  • A personalized cue or drill recommendation to help you improve

By tracking your scores over time, you can see how your swing evolves and focus your practice on the areas that need the most attention.

Every SwingAI report includes an interactive 3D model of your swing, helping you visualize your movements from multiple angles. The model highlights how each part of your swing compares to optimal ranges for that dimension—making it easy to spot where you’re in sync and where small adjustments can lead to big results.

Drills in SwingAI are automatically selected based on your lowest-scoring swing dimensions—and give you a training plan in the areas where your swing deviates most from proven movement patterns used by elite hitters.

The AI analyzes your swing video, identifies the key metrics that need improvement, and recommends drills that target those specific areas.

Each drill includes:

  • A clear focus on the dimension it’s designed to improve (e.g., pelvis load, stride length)
  • A coaching explanation to help you understand why the drill matters
  • A feel cue or swing adjustment to guide your practice

This approach ensures that every drill you do is personalized and purposeful—helping you make real improvements without guesswork.

Yes! SwingAI tracks your scores over time so you can monitor how your swing evolves across each of the 12 dimensions. Each time you upload a swing, your latest report is saved in the app, allowing you to compare past and present scores, spot trends, and measure your progress.

Yes! SwingAI is designed to analyze both baseball and softball swings. The AI model and feedback system are built to account for key differences in swing mechanics, ensuring accurate analysis and meaningful insights for athletes in both sports.

SwingAI helps you build better swing mechanics, while TrainVR gives you game-speed pitch reps in virtual reality. You can use the WIN Reality mobile app to control Live Pitch for TrainVR sessions and view your VR stats alongside SwingAI reports in one place.

Equipment

Do I need the Bat Attachment to use WIN Reality?

No. You do not need the Bat Attachment to train with WIN. All of our training modes only require the Meta Quest controllers. However, the bat attachment is preferred by most of our members so they can swing their real bat.

Yes! The Bat Attachment is designed to fasten securely on all baseball and softball bats.

Typical turnaround time for the equipment with standard shipping is 7-10 business days! We’ll send you tracking info after your equipment ships.

We do! Select “Expedited Shipping” during the shipping step at checkout for 2-business-day shipping.

The Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 controllers are shaped differently. The Quest 3 bat attachment will work for Quest 2 and Quest 3, while the Quest 2 bat attachment will only work for that model.
