Taking the VR Skills Assessment
The activities within the WIN Reality Skills Assessment are specifically designed for each age group. Before beginning the assessment, confirm your age setting is correct in your player profile. The assessment is designed to be challenging and can last up to 30 minutes. We recommend taking the assessment when you are alert and prepared for intensive physical activity.
- In the WIN Reality VR lobby, press the TRAIN tab in the bottom menu bar
- Select the “ALL WORKOUTS” card
- Select the “ASSESSMENT” card
- Select “Let’s Go”
- Choose your controller. For the most accurate results, we recommend using the bat attachment or short bat mode
- After calibrating your equipment, the assessment begins.
- The results from your assessment will be available in the WIN Reality mobile app and emailed to the address associated with your profile. To learn more about the design and metrics of the assessment, check out our blog post Understanding The WIN Assessment Scoring System.
- After completing your VR assessment, use the WIN Reality mobile app to submit a video of your swing for SwingAI Trainer biomechanics analysis (instructions below).
Downloading the WIN mobile app
- Search for “WIN Reality” inside your iOS/Android Store

Link to Android App Store - Login using the same credentials you used when signing up for your WIN Reality account
- Inside the WIN Reality Companion App, you’ll be able to view all of your stats captured within the VR training experience, throw pitches to the batter in the VR environment using Live Pitch, and submit your swing for biomechanics analysis using SwingAI Trainer.
Submitting your SwingAI Trainer video
- Open the WIN Reality Companion App and click on the three dots at the bottom of the app
- Press SwingAI Trainer
- Read the instructions for video capture
- If your existing video meets the video capture requirements, the press the UPLOAD VIDEO button and confirm your video meets the requirements on the following screen. If your existing video does NOT meet the requirements, exit the app and record a new video.
NOTE: Once your video is uploaded, if it does not meet the requirements or if there is an error processing your swing footage, you will receive an email to the account associated with your WIN Reality membership
- After the SwingAI Trainer processing is complete (typically less than 10 minutes), your results of the 12-point analysis will be available in the app.
